Position: AMBULANCE DETAILER

SHIFT SCHEDULING: Part Time/Full-time

Explorer – 1 is looking for an Ambulance Detailer to wash, wax and maintain our vehicles.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position will require you to wash, wax, and detail the exterior, and interior of all Explorer – 1: ambulances, support vehicles, and administrative vehicles; and  Perform janitorial duties and basic maintenance of Explorer – 1 facilities as directed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Job Function Will Include, But Not Limited To:

• Washing, and detailing the exterior of vehicle using supplied cleaning supplies.
• Clean, and detail the interior of vehicle to company and/or infection control standards.
• Operate vacuums, vehicle and floor buffers, pressure washers, hoses, and other related equipment to meet service expectations.
• Use cleaning agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
• Safely operate vehicles around facility and parking Lot.
• Monitor, and clean all areas of facility, removing, and disposal of trash and other debris.
• Empty all trash containers daily.
• Performs janitorial duties as assigned for the interior of facilities, offices, and breakrooms.
• Performs basic yard care maintenance such as: sweeping of grounds, emptying of trash, and recycling bins, weed abatement, and leaf raking; using hand tools, and powered equipment.
• Maintains trees, shrubs and flowers as assigned, using hand tools, and powered equipment.
• Maintain a daily log, and record of task completed.
• May be assigned to drive to outlying station on a weekly basis to perform janitorial services on both interior, and exterior of facility.
• Performs all tasks in a safe manner with consideration of all employees, and patients.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Current California Driver’s License (Class: C).
• DMV H-6 Printout Record (no more than 30 days old).
• CPR Card (Preferred).
• High school diploma, or general education degree (GED) preferred.
